Have you ever seen some people who struggle for surviving all day? The majority of those people are destitute patients. The rate of medical assistant cases constantly increases every year in the United States rapidly. According to estimates of Center for Disease Control and Prevention, over one million people don’t have enough money to afford the expensive medical cost and most of them die by diseases. Although legislations of the United States don’t require us to help them in any kinds of financial support coercively, we should donate money in charity organization in order to help other people who in need actually. Being a bystander is simple because he/she doesn’t have to do anything. The majority of bystanders will ignore what events occur around them even they involve in a series of cases. If everyone becomes bystanders, we won’t perceive any kinds of love expressions in our society such as compassion. People don’t want to help each other anymore, they may be selfish and self-centered. Therefore, we have a responsibility to help each other who needs emergency assistance. Helping people to overcome their obstacles what they face is a kind of pleasure. It also is a way to improve your social networks and get useful experiences from them. If we are no longer to be bystanders, we will have a steady and secure community. We are a part of members of human beings, and we have the responsibility to help others who need emergent help in order to develop a secure and peaceful society.
Everyone has responsibility to help others who need emergent financial or safety requirement without any rewards. It is a kind of moral behavior in order to make our community more peacefully and securely. There are two types of responsibility that individuals should help others who need help in economic and secure crisis. First of all, people can donate money and clothes to charity organization for helping other people who in need, especially homeless people. In recent years, homelessness has become a serious problem that might cause various negative effects such as crime and violence. Homeless people lose confidence to seek appropriate occupation constantly because majority of employers don’t hire them. It is the primary factor of the rate of crime increasing rapidly every year. For instance, a part of homeless people are addicted to drug. They may attempt to rob the valuables from others. Even worse, they rob the banks and murder any innocent bystanders. Providing financial support and used clothes to them might not help them in long-term way, but it is effective for reducing the rate of crime temporally. Another responsibility is that people should help others who are in emergency situations. We can’t run away when we see someone who is suffering. A famous Chinese proverb states: “To help others is the source of happiness.” In general, we should try hard to help others to solve their obstacles. Nobody concerns about what feeling that someone don’t get help from others. For instance, someone gets injury by car accident and nobody helps him immediately. This person may disappoint to those bystanders in the car accident scene at that moment. If the bystander effect spread out constantly, more and more innocent victims will get hurt. We have responsibility to protect others’ lives because we have to avoid the tragedy occurs. In addition, devoting spare time to participate the volunteer service in charity organization is an excellent directly way to help homeless people. Teaching people don’t be bystanders when they see someone who needs help. Moreover, teaching the safe procedures to people is an efficient way to prevent the tragedy. For instance, they can directly treat the victims after the tragedy has occurred. They might call emergency assistance after they really couldn’t handle and prevent the matter to be worse.
Most people are always being bystanders when someone needs emergency help at risky situation. However, a few people will help others promptly. For instance, once I laid down my cell phone on the seat and got off the bus, a young girl who sat next to me got off the bus and gave my cell phone back to me soon. I was surprised at that time because I never ever experienced someone got my stuff back to me. I was to be thankful for this lady. Even though many people try to help others in any risky situations, a few people are being bystanders and waiting for the other people to help. Once I saw an elder man to find a heavy backpack because the bus was crowed, nobody abdicated a seat to this senior. Finally, I was disappointed by these bystanders and abdicated my seat to him. If I didn’t help this senior, I might felt selfish and unbearable. We have the responsibility to rescue someone who is struggling at crisis. I realize that our community will be more peaceful and secure when everyone no longer becomes a bystander.
