Having A Quality Education

Let me to continue to discuss the last topic about what is genuine eduation. Having a high standard of quality eduacation is a dream for most teachers and students who desire to achieve because it rarely happens in reality. Genuine education is not a simple process of transmitting knowledge from someone to another. Applying their critical thinking into investigating is good for developing their skills. For instance, a graduating college student works for a well-known international computer software company. He can use perfectly what he has learnt from an instructor at his campus who earns a master degree in computer software field. One day, his manager offers him into a software department and he is appointed to lead a team to design new anti-virus software. However, he is not good at design the software of computer security and finally he lost his occupation. That is an excellent example to demonstrate that a person won’t be successful in real world if he doesn’t know how to learn more different techniques from various professions in or der to improve himself.
Giving the fundamental knowledge and teaching the efficient method to learn for students are both necessaries in order to help them having a good quality of education.  In recent years, more and more college students lost confidence to continue to complete the rest of their education at campus because they never get an excellent method for learning from educators as a guide to help them achieve the success at school.  The second obstacle that most teachers desire to distribute all their knowledge they have learned to students, but they never concern about some students might not get the mean ideas during the class. It is one of factors that causes them doing not well in their homework and getting a low grade from the test. In the article “The Arts at Black,” Mountain College Josef Albers mentions that “Good teaching is more a giving of right questions than a giving of right answers.” The idea of this sentence is that giving the fundamental knowledge to student without guiding students to learn is not enough. Because an educator only has the limited skills, students should know how to learn efficiently in order to pursue more experience and skills from their life.  Therefore, teachers ought to adjust their negative habit of study and teach them the efficient method for learning. They also have to encourage students to read more different types of books, to participate the class activities and to take the good notes in class.  These activities are very helpful to improve the skills of students.
